One of the best things about a GMAT test is that you can choose between three different test orders for your exams. The options are as below:
Through this choice, you can choose the one that suits best to your taste or preference. This further allows you to take the GMAT Exam on your own pace making the test-taking experience flexible and adaptable.
Two of the sections from GMAT Exam; the Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning sections are computer adaptive meaning that the difficulty level of the test depends upon your performance. The computer will assess your capability from your choice of answers and responses to predict the next question during the exam. This increases the accuracy of your test result that is the reason business schools accept GMAT participants with open arms.
It goes something like this; when you sit for a GMAT exam the first question be it from Quantities or Verbal section it is of average difficulty. As you proceed and answer the question the computer records your response while scoring your answer and use it to select the next question to be given. If you have answered the question correctly the next questions typically be harder than the last one in contrast to that if you have answered the question wrong the computer will automatically give you an easier question next. Just like that, it goes on until you have completed your section, remember the next question will always depend on your response to the previous question.
Note: You won't be able to skip, return to, or change your once answered questions. The reason being the test computer adaptive, as soon as you answer a question, the computer starts its work so you are unable to edit your answer.
